Different benefits have different rules
Contributory benefits and subsidies have separate conditions. Legal unemployment status, contributions and, for some benefits, income or family responsibilities matter. SEPE must assess your case.
Before applying
Note the employment end date and reason, any paid unused holiday and contribution periods. Check the applicable deadline promptly; do not wait until every doubt is resolved to seek information.
- Prepare identification, registration and documents required by the official procedure; do not upload them to OrientUP.
- Keep proof of submission and check requests for further information.
If you start work or circumstances change
Ask how to report the change and whether compatibility, suspension or resumption applies to your benefit. Do not assume payments continue or that the employer’s report replaces your obligations.
