Read a vacancy and decide whether to apply
Get enough information about the work and verify who is recruiting.
Highlight what matters
Separate duties, essential requirements and desirable criteria. Record location, hours, shifts, contract, gross pay and collective agreement where given. Turn missing information into questions rather than assumptions.
Verify before sharing information
Look for the vacancy on the employer’s official channel. Check the domain and contact through an independent route. Even a familiar job board can carry a misleading advert.
- Be cautious about payments to reserve a job, moving funds or buying equipment from an imposed supplier.
- Never send banking passwords or access codes. Share identity documents only for a legitimate procedure with a verified recipient.
- Keep evidence of suspected fraud and consult INCIBE support.
Compare your priorities
In Compare offers, record confirmed and missing conditions, travel cost and suitable hours. Applying without all desirable criteria can be reasonable; mandatory legal requirements need verification.
